Hello!

Mirjana M. is my name and I am a self-taught elder millennial creative from Belgrade, Serbia.

My creative oasis is one that is exploding with maximalist visions of surrealism, abstracts and metaphorical illusions, and themes and tapestries that I find the most compelling to adhere to are those of fantasy, folk-lore, science - fiction, horror , flora, fauna and the uncanny.

In 2024, in April and inspired by doing NaPoWriMo, I started doing Art-A-Day and found it a wonderful way of both approaching and disciplining my own creativity that I still practice today.

My aspirations with sharing and offering my art to the world are inspiration, inciting creativity and connection that makes one want to create themselves.

I have no formal education at all, art included, and I am partially colour-blind - in the blue spectrum. I speak English and Spanish, moderate French and am currently learning Mandarin Chinese.

Projects I am most passionate about diving into are covers, especially Poetry Book covers. These projects most often involve reading the poems then creating how they made me feel, using various techniques such as texture photography, texture canvas painting, fractal light patterning, digital double exposure and more - then collaging it all into a digital artwork.
